Group Therapy

We are constantly seeking innovative and holistic ways to enhance client care and provide value to our client base.  Whether you choose Group Therapy as a stand alone treatment option or in combination with Individual Therapy it can provide significant benefits to your overall mental health. Group Therapy offers support from other people that are experiencing similar issues, this creates a judgement free zone. In addition to offering a supportive, nurturing group therapy experience we also teach valuable skills and techniques to elevate your life! 

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) for Adolescents & Young Adults Group

This group is for young people (aged 12-19) struggling with difficulty managing emotions, anxiety, depression,interpersonal problems and suicidal thoughts/ behaviors. This group teaches mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation and communication skills. 

Women's Empowerment & Wellness Group

This group focuses on women's issues including: juggling work and family, substance abuse issues, early recovery from substance abuse and depression, parenting issues, parenting a "difficult" child or a child with a mental health diagnosis, relationship issues, low self-esteem, social isolation, reduction of sexual libido with depression and/or childbirth, assertive communication with a spouse  in the workplace. This group allows for a supportive and safe space to process, ventilate feelings and gain useful advice and support using art therapy, GODDESS Training, expressive therapy, spirituality principles, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, dialectical behavioral therapy approaches, guided meditation and open discussions with other women. This group teaches assertiveness training, relaxation techniques and self love techniques and tools.  

Men's Support Group

Our men's group focuses on general life issues such as: juggling work & family, substance abuse issues, early recovery from substance abuse & depression, parenting issues, parenting a "difficult" child or a child with a mental health diagnosis, relationship issues, low self-esteem, social isolation, reduction of sexual libido with depression, assertive communication with a spouse & in the workplace. This group allows for a supportive & safe space to process feelings & gain useful advice and support using expressive therapy, spirituality principles, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, dialectical behavioral therapy approaches, guided meditation and open discussions with other men in order to gain support and mental/emotional clarity. 

Spirituality Group

This group focuses on fostering a holistic spiritual practice to gain interconnections with self and live a more authentic and meaningful life. Religion is focused on an organized faith guided by practices and doctrines, this spirituality group, however, focuses on self expression, finding your inner peace and creating a daily practice that is filled with meaning. This Spirituality group uses art therapy principles, musical approaches, holistic eating and mindfulness practices to move group members to a more internally connected and peaceful place.
